Datalogging

Experiment with a range of sensors to investigate temperature, light, sound, speed, and pulse rate in a variety of contexts. EasySense Q Advanced dataloggers are the top of the range machines we use; capable of fast logging, remote datalogging or general-purpose data capture beside the computer. The menu is intuitive for teachers and learners alike.

Espresso

The CLC authored two of the units you use in Espresso and they were filmed mainly at the Centre and in local primary schools. We are able to give the opportunity of taking part in a range of follow-up activities for these and other Espresso units.

Microbes

  • Explore the links between illness, compost, mouldy cheese and beer.
  • Explore the range of micro-organisms (bacteria, fungi and viruses).
  • Investigate/identify ways in which disease-causing microbes are spread and how to counteract this.
