Monsters

Our Monsters Transition project was developed with the help of primary staff to improve the transfer of pupils from KS2 to KS3. Two schemes of work were produced to support the project in Y6 and one scheme for Y7. All schemes centered on the SC2 (Biology) component of the National Curriculum, in particular, the parts and organisation of the body (KS2) and adaptation to the environment (KS3).

In addition, the CLC produced passports for every pupil to take into their new secondary school containing personal information, a photograph and details about monsters.

 

A monster quiz was used successfully each year.
