Poetry Day 04

The programme for the Poetry was as follows:-

09.30 - 10.00 : Welcome Introduction - about poetry

10.00 - 10.45 : Putting their poems into Powerpoint

- backgrounds

- text (normal and WordArt)

- images (photos, clip-art, animated gif's)

- custom animation

10.45 - 11.00 : Pupils' poetry presentations Break

11.00 - 12.00 : Continue on their Powerpoint presentation

- slide transition

12.00 - 13.00 : Lunch (shorter if required)

13.00 - 14.00 : Finalising Powerpoint presentations by adding narration

- slide transition

- slide timing

- auto presentation

(Any spare time spent either making a Christmas poem or accessing Magnetic Poetry on line)

14.00 - 14.15 : Break

14.15 - 14.45 : Poetry presentations in auditorium

The response to the various activities was as follows:-

Enjoyed writing the poems = 70%

Enjoyed using Powerpoint = 85%

Enjoyed recording their voice = 50%

Enjoyed seeing their presentation = 65%
